Within the Salem Center Mall, Olive Boutique provides the latest in clothing design and their space needed a design to match. Utilizing local business, Barnwood Naturals for recycled materials, displays were formed using heavy timbers and walls were clad in recycled boards. The checkout counter was also fabricated using re-purposed boards. Some other unique features are cast in place penny surfaces and durable finish flooring.
BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon
Design included remodeling an existing restaurant for use as a new BMW Motorcycle Dealership located in Eugene. Features include a sales floor, repair and parts sales areas. The Sales area is provided with continuous skylights for natural lighting. Exterior covered spaces are provided for merchandise display.
Helping Hands Resources
Helping Hands, located at 1755 13th Street in Salem had occupied a small house at the same location and had outgrown its facility. Helping Hands provides services to families and individuals in need, primarily with access to free good quality used clothing.
The new facility is a 2,800 s.f. facility, 2,000 s.f. on the ground floor as well as 800 s.f. on a mezzanine level with display area, volunteer work area and storage. The wood framed structure includes energy efficient glazing, metal shingles and siding systems to evoke a modernist design response to its service commercial context.

Portland Road Retail
Studio 3 Architecture was retained to design a retail center to replace an existing automotive repair shop. The site was designed to provide retail space in increments of approximately 800 s.f. as well as a pad with two fast food spaces with drive-through service.

Commercial Wiltsey Retail
A planned retail development for South Salem, the 9 acre site provides a mix of retail uses, from stand-alone big boxes, small tenants, and pads. The buildings are constructed of concrete block and structural brick. After completion of the building shells, Studio 3 completed the tenant improvements for each tenant.
